Elsa and Belle's Library Adventure
A Royal Afternoon in the Library
The Arendelle castle was unusually quiet as Elsa prepared for a special visit. Princess Belle was coming to spend the afternoon reading in the royal library—something Elsa rarely had time to enjoy.
When Belle arrived, her eyes widened at the sight of the towering bookshelves. “Oh, Elsa, your library is magnificent! I could spend forever here.”
Elsa chuckled. “That’s exactly why I invited you. Today, we lose ourselves in a good book.”
They settled by the grand fireplace, where the snow outside made the warmth inside even cozier. Belle picked out a book about far-off lands, flipping through the pages until one caught her eye. “Here’s an interesting one—‘The Marvels of New Jersey.’ Have you ever read about it?”
Elsa shook her head. “Not yet. Let’s find out together.”
Belle read aloud about a place where towering boardwalks stretched over golden sand, where lighthouses stood tall against crashing waves, and where forests were said to hold hidden magic. “It says here that in the Pine Barrens, there’s a legendary creature called the Jersey Devil,” Belle said in an exaggerated whisper.
Elsa grinned. “A mysterious creature in the woods? Sounds like an adventure.” She flicked her wrist, sending a swirl of snowflakes over the pages, making the words shimmer like frost.
They continued reading, discovering tales of amusement parks with dazzling lights, diners serving stacks of pancakes at all hours, and an island where wild horses roamed free. “And look at this,” Belle said, pointing to a passage. “New Jersey has a whole festival dedicated to blueberries! Imagine all the pies.”
Elsa laughed. “I think Anna would want to visit just for that.”
By the time the sun dipped below the mountains, they had finished the book, their imaginations filled with images of ocean waves, deep forests, and city skylines.
“Next time, let’s read in my ice palace,” Elsa said. “Maybe we’ll find a story about a magical winter town.”
Belle smiled. “Or better yet, let’s take a real trip to New Jersey and see it all for ourselves.”
As Belle departed, Elsa lingered a moment longer, running her hand over the book’s cover. It had been a perfect day—one of warmth, friendship, and the magic of stories that transported them somewhere new.
