This weekend we traveled all the way to Connecticut to put on the first ever Royal Princess Ball at the Bijou theater. Iman, the owner of Jersey City Party Characters, was beyond excited to be there for this huge moment in her decade long friend, Alexis' career!


Iman and Alexis have known each other since they were teens working at Party Princess Productions South Florida. They moved to the North East Coast a few years ago and from their new homes in New Jersey and Connecticut, they started their own princess party businesses. With only Manhattan and little bits of Upstate New York between them, they worked together to succeed. They filled in for each other, watched each other's backs, and helped each other climb to the top of the party entertainment industry. Alexis' (Your Premium Princess) Royal Princess Ball at the Bijou is the beginning of a new era for both Iman and Alexis as they venture into stage performances and community focused events. They are both creating and collaborating on more scripted shows for families using familiar characters are a new way to find and create community for young parents. They will offer entertainment, socialization, and a safe space for joy in this constantly darkening world.
